Freeform modelling with NX
Even if it’s called freeform, there are still rules to follow. Whether you are designing an iron, a shampoo bottle or the wing of a turbine, there are always a lot of constraints that need to be taken into account.
Similar to the basic “Modelling” course, the “Freeform” course introduces you to the topic in exercises that build on each other.
You will learn about different methods and have the opportunity to test your knowledge again and again using the exercises marked in green. Let’s get started!

Swept, create an elbow
This exercise shows the typical work steps for creating a pipe elbow with the Swept command and modelling the flanges. It is the practical exercise for the FF-1 learning video, so it does not teach you any new content, but gives you the opportunity to practice again and check your knowledge.
