About this lesson
Connect different cross-sections using the Lofted Flange feature. Connect freely positioned flanges using the Bridge Bend feature.
How do you connect sheet metal profiles with different cross-sections, angles, or shapes? This exercise shows step by step, how the Lofted Flange command connects the different profiles of a ventilation duct — with different lengths, angles, and even different shapes. In addition, you will learn how to create and position flanges freely, and connect them to the main body using Bridge Bend. The design method ensures, that the positions and connections adapt automatically, when dimensions or angles change.
